The NBA fever!!

Alrite guys.. Being a girl, no one wud expect a girl would be into basketball but u can never underestimate a girl! hehe girls can like basketball!!! So here it goes:

Updates on the Western Conference:

The NBA playoffs have begun and the top 8 teams from the east and west begin their journey toward the NBA championship. The reigning NBA champions, Los Angeles Lakers(1), face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder(8), the youngest playoff team in the NBA. the series has been tight throughout and it has come down to a Game 6 on April 30, 2010 where Lakers pull a difficult victory with the help of Pau Gasol scoring the game winning shot leaving 0.5 seconds. Lakers have now advanced to the 2nd round.

Next is the series between the Texas rivals, San Antonio Spurs(7) and Dallas Mavericks(2). The spurs pull off an unikely victory against the mavs and they finish off that series in 6 games due to a terrific effort by Manu Ginobli and Tim Duncan.

The Phoenix Suns(3) defeat the Portland Trail Blazers(6) 6 games also helped by a terrific performance by Jason Richardson in the winning games and Steve Nash with his awesome point guard skills. Even though Brandon Roy returned 8 days after knee surgery, the Blazers came up short.

the last series in the west is between the Denver Nuggets(4) who made it to the western conference finals last season and the Utah Jazz(5). The Jazz lead the series 3-2 coming into tonight's game trying to finish off Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets. And they proved their point by taking the win and win the series making them proceed to the next round!!

Highlights of the Weekend!

My schedule for this weekend is just WORK WORK AND WORK!! ughhh... I know its sooo boring but what to do?? that is what skoool is alll aboutt!! I have two presentation lined up for the beginning of the week! Small Business Project for Monday (how niceee!) and Bus. Law project for tues ( more joy...ughhh!) and thats it for next weeek!!

The Unbaring Heat!!

Guys..
It seems as though we are just baking one huge oven!! It is just impossible to stay outside for more than an hour, you just get sweaty and sticky!! ughh..

This is something that Belize has never experienced... well i have not experienced

You can see clearly how global warming is showing its effects on the whole country.. so its time for us to help save our environment or else there will be a time where we can't even go out of our houses because of the hot sun!!

Result of the Mixer...

Well as all business students will say "it was fun" or "i loved it" but according to me it was alrite, not that good and not that bad! Lot of companies were very informative and some just didn't come prepared (which shows un- professionalism)

After all the sessions ended... it was like a race to the food and companies that were offering some complimentary gift!! No food was left when it was my turn to get food.. ughhh!

ooo welll... it was nice but cud have been better! hope it improves next yr!

Reminder for Business Students!!

Just wanted to remind all business students of the Annual Business Mixer at 2:30 at the Radisson Fort George on Wednesday April 28th, 2010!!

This is a great opportunity for all graduating students as u can get acquainted with the business world and choose your future career! Some business might also present u with an application form in order to apply for a job!!! (yay!!)

Plssss students...be on your best behavior as you will soon be entering the business environment...

Due to this.. all classes starting from 12:00 will be cancelled as this will give ample amount of time to students to be ready for 2:30! 

Get ready guys for the real worldd!!

Phewww....Fianlly the weekend is OVERRRR!!! sooo much to do!!! tests, projects and h.w.!!

I need to be prepared for more work in this week!! hope these teachers have a lil mercy on usss ughhhh!!! 

ooooo btw!!! the weekend was not all that bad!! it was our dearest friend Neetu's birthday so we had a ton of funn!! 

Happy Birthday once again!! Hope u had a great timee!!!
